About the RoleWe are looking for a passionate Preschool Assistant Teacher to support our lead teachers in delivering a safe, stimulating, and joyful learning experience for our preschool children. Whether you are a fresh ECCE graduate or an experienced educator looking for a supportive home, we would love to meet you. Job ResponsibilitiesSupport the lead teacher in planning, supervising, and implementing the daily classroom programme in line with the centre’s curriculum and ECDA framework. Carry out routine care duties — meals, snack times, naptime, hygiene, and toileting — to ensure the safety, comfort, and wellbeing of every child. Set up and maintain a clean, safe, and engaging learning environment that encourages self-directed exploration. Prepare teaching aids, learning materials, displays, and craft resources to support lesson delivery. Engage children in both English and Mandarin to support bilingual development. Apply age-appropriate behaviour management strategies under the guidance of the lead teacher. Render basic first aid and respond appropriately to children’s physical and emotional needs. Contribute observations and input on each child’s development for progress reports and case discussions. Build warm, professional partnerships with parents and provide updates on their child’s day where appropriate. Work collaboratively with teaching colleagues to deliver a consistent, high-quality programme. RequirementsWSQ Higher Certificate in Early Childhood Care and Education (HC ECCE), or candidates currently pursuing the qualification are welcome to apply. Proficient in both spoken English and Mandarin to support bilingual learners
