This role is critical for ensuring the safe, reliable, and compliant maintenance of instrumentation and electrical systems across PBF Energy's Gulf Coast midstream operations.
The technician will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on field devices, control systems, and power distribution equipment while minimizing downtime.
Candidates must demonstrate strong troubleshooting skills for Allen-Bradley PLC systems and possess a safety-first mindset regarding OSHA, EPA, and DOT regulations.

Must-have
5 years hands-on oil and gas experience
Allen-Bradley PLC troubleshooting skills
Instrumentation calibration and repair
Electrical system maintenance expertise
SCADA and RTU system knowledge
Reading P&IDs and electrical schematics
Safety compliance with PHMSA regulations
Nice-to-have
Experience with renewable fuels operations
Knowledge of motor control centers and VFDs
Familiarity with data analytics tools
Current Operator Qualification (OQ) certification
Adaptability to new technologies
Alarm management process optimization
Cathodic protection system knowledge
Key Requirements
High school diploma required; Associate's degree preferred
Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in oil and gas midstream
Valid driver's license and ability to obtain TWIC card
Completion of HAZWOPER, First Aid/CPR, and Operator Qualification training
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work flexible on-call schedules
