The Facilities Performance Mechanic is assigned to maintain and repair utility meters, HVAC, lighting, electrical, building automation, and devices that acquire data from these systems.
The mechanic will develop skills to use computers and mobile devices to program, operate, test, and calibrate the electrical and HVAC metering devices used by the Facilities Performance Group.
Physical demands include extensive walking, lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, stooping, using power tools, driving, and climbing ladders/scaffolding to work at heights up to 20 feet.
