2 year contract role Working location: Sengkang Depot The incumbent will be responsible for all contract administration work (preparation of contract documents, specifications, progress payment, costs and claims management, etc.) related to government Automated People Mover System Project by working closely with Project Manager and effective correspondence with client. Interfaces with multiple project stakeholders including Japan Office to ensure smooth execution of project Business Management Responsible for below activities with Business Manager in Japan headquarters; Leading and finalization of business correspondence with customer and partner such as payment claim, VO claim and EOT claim etc. Drafting and reviewing of correspondence and documents to be sent to the customer or partners; Negotiation with customer and partners to solve various issues relating to the project. To act as a legal together with MHI-AP legal team to check and verify the terms of contract agreement before submission of correspondences with customer and partner. Managing the shipment of equipment with the support from material controller Management of bonds and/or insurance Interface with all internal relevant parties including headquarters in Japan Start-up project Procurement, payment and related administration system structure between Japan headquarters and MHI-AP to ensure the smooth delivery of the project. Requirements · Bachelor Degree in Law or equivalent related to business contract · Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar capacity handling Automated People Mover System Project · Overseas job site experience related to Automated People Mover System Projects. · Japanese Language Proficiency Level of JLPT N1 or equivalent level for writing & conversational skills (including terminology in legal and accounting fields) to communicate with Japan Head Office and counterparts
