Responsibilities: Provide advice on suitable legal structures for project entities, ensuring compliance with local and international laws. Address international legal considerations, including trade laws and multi-jurisdictional regulations. Identify potential risks associated with contracts and develop strategies for risk mitigation. Support the acquisition and maintenance of necessary licenses, permits, and regulatory approvals. Draft, review, and revise contracts for legal soundness and alignment with strategic objectives. Negotiate favorable contract terms with external parties to protect the organization’s interests. Mediate disputes during contract execution and offer legal expertise for fair resolutions. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure clear communication and adherence to contract terms. Conduct training sessions on legal compliance and key issues for internal stakeholders. Maintain accurate records of contracts and related documentation. Collaborate with external legal counsel on regulatory matters and manage legal engagements. Oversee claims, arbitrations, and court proceedings related to projects. Assist with the development of internal policies to enhance legal governance. Engage in ad hoc projects as directed by management, ensuring all legal considerations are addressed. Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized university. Minimum of 10 years of relevant legal experience in a law firm and/or in-house setting, In-depth knowledge of a certain industry laws, regulations, and compliance frameworks in Singapore.
