Job Summary Reporting to the Reservations Manager, the incumbent shall ensure that all reservation enquiries are handled in a prompt, efficient and courteous manner, to maximise bookings and assist in the duties of the Reservations Department. RESPONSIBILITIES Maintain current knowledge of hotel room rates, promotions, and facilities to provide accurate information to guests and optimise booking opportunities Deliver excellent telephone etiquette and customer service aligned with Dorsett Singapore’s standards and procedures Process all reservation requests received via phone, email and other channels accurately and promptly to secure bookings Record reservations with complete and clear information following established procedures and input data accurately into the reservation system Maximise revenue by converting enquiries into confirmed bookings and identifying opportunities to upsell hotel services Ensure all function paperwork, including guest preferences, booking supplements, payment details etc, is accurate and complete Perform general administrative duties to support the Reservations Department’s operations Adhere to Health and Safety procedures, reporting any hazards or incidents to management promptly Participate actively in training sessions and team meetings to contribute to continuous improvement Collaborate effectively with Sales and Front Office teams to coordinate room bookings and optimise occupancy Provide coverage for the Reservations Executive during their absence to maintain department continuity Any other ad-hoc duties assigned from time to time REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATION Diploma in Hospitality, Hotel Management, or related field Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in the hotel industry Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications Knowledge of OPERA Cloud reservation system will be advantageous Strong interpersonal and communication skills demonstrated through effective guest and client interactions Ability to multi-task efficiently while
