UWCSEA is looking for a Teacher of Psychology to support with a part-time maternity cover position at it's Dover campus from August until mid October 2026. This role is an approximately 75% timetable, with 4 or 5 classes. The successful applicant will have experience teaching Psychology at a High School level. Experience of teaching IB Diploma Psychology will be an advantage for this position. The successful candidate will likely teach IB Diploma Psychology in Grades 11 or 12, alongside our UWCSEA Psychology courses in Grades 9 and 10. The actual determination of classes will be dependent on the skill set of the appointee, the needs of our students and timetabling requirements. The Psychology Department is a team composed of four enthusiastic and dynamic teachers who work in a very well-resourced environment for learning. Teachers should ensure assessments support ongoing learning and provide timely, relevant and appropriate feedback to students on formative and summative assessments. Teachers should demonstrate effective classroom management that shows an understanding of the academic, social and emotional dimensions of learning.
