Reporting directly to the CTO, the group to play a strategic and cross-functional role in shaping the future of cloud capabilities within the business unit. You will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and driving the adoption of cutting-edge technologies that align with the group’s vision of becoming a cloud and AI powerhouse. Responsibilities Research and Development Continuously scan the market for bleeding-edge cloud technologies. Engage and stay updated with key technology partners (e.g., AWS, Google, Oracle, Microsoft, Elastic, RedHat) on developments in their technology stack. Collaborate with professional services, presales, and managed services teams to assess the applicability of new technologies across the group Shortlist and recommend technologies to develop into Proof of Concepts (POCs). Lead POC and R&D projects to completion, evaluating their adoption within business units. Drive the adoption of viable technologies across the group and its customer base. Change Management and Capabilities Development Be the change agent driving the digital transformation of group into an AI and cloud powerhouse. Develop, track and plan the overall capabilities development of the group aligning with long-term strategic goals. Document staff capabilities, including tracking certifications and competencies across various cloud technologies to ensure alignment with organizational goals and partner requirements. Leverage partner programs for training, certifications, and rebates to enhance team competencies. Plan and manage resource allocation, including considerations for outsourcing and partner collaboration.
