We are hiring a full-time Primary Student Care Teacher for an established after-school care centre in Yishun. This role is suitable for someone who genuinely enjoys working with Primary school students and wants to stay meaningfully involved in education. The centre supports Primary 1 to Primary 5 students after school. Unlike a purely supervision-based student care setting, this role carries a stronger academic focus. You will guide students in their schoolwork, reinforce key learning areas, and help them build better study habits in a structured after-school environment. The successful candidate should be comfortable teaching or supporting two Primary school subjects, with Primary Science being one of them. You do not need to have formally taught Science as your main subject before. What matters is that you are able to prepare, explain Primary Science concepts clearly, and guide students through schoolwork or application-type questions. This role will suit someone who is patient, clear in explanation, steady with children, and comfortable working in a centre environment where teaching, routines, behaviour management, and care duties all come together.
