We’re seeking a Principal MES Engineer to be the technical authority for MES architecture, design, configuration, integration, and rollout—driving process discipline, digital traceability, real-time visibility, and right-first-time execution across high-mix, high-volume environments. Responsibilities Define and execute the global MES strategy and roadmap in alignment with business goals, collaborating with senior leadership and cross-functional teams. Define and lead MES architecture and end-to end functional design for a multi-site, multicountry electronics manufacturing network, ensuring scalability, security, and compliance with ISA‑95/ISA‑88 standards. Architect and manage SAP MES integration (PP, QM, WM modules) and connectivity with test systems, quality systems, WMS, and BI/Analytics platforms to ensure seamless data exchange and process synchronization. Oversee MES projects from initiation to completion, including scope definition, timeline management, fit-gap analysis, configuration, testing, pilot deployment, and full-scale implementation across multiple sites. Act as the primary technical escalation point with MES vendors and system integrators; manage backlog, technical debt, and roadmap to ensure system reliability and continuous improvement. Mentor and build MES capability within Corp and site teams, providing training, best practices, and technical leadership.
