Skills & Requirements

Must-have

  • PICU or Pediatric ED experience preferred
  • Valid state nursing license with no restrictions
  • ALS, BLS, PALS, and trauma care certifications
  • Ability to work in extreme weather and rugged terrain
  • Weight limit under 216 lbs by interview

Nice-to-have

  • Experience mentoring healthcare team members
  • Familiarity with advanced medical transport technologies
  • Compact nursing license holder
  • Strong autonomous decision-making abilities
  • CNPT certification within two years of hire

Key Requirements

  • State-certified Nurse with valid license
  • BSN degree required as of July 2025
  • CFRN certification within two years of hire
  • Trauma care certification (TNATC, ATLS, etc.) within one year
  • Minimum 3 years PICU or Dedicated Peds ED experience preferred
