Quantity Surveyor Working Location: Ang Mo Kio Industrial Park 2 Salary: $3,000 to $4,500 Monday - Friday 8am to 5pm / Saturday 8am to 1pm Roles & Responsibilities Job Summary Prepare detailed cost estimates, quotations, and Bills of Quantities (BoQ) based on metal fabrication drawings to support project budgeting and execution. Manage quantity take-offs and cost control for materials, labor, and project timelines to ensure financial accuracy and efficiency. Job Responsibilities Prepare accurate cost estimates, quotations, and Bills of Quantities (BoQ) from metal fabrication drawings to support project planning and budgeting Perform detailed quantity take-offs and implement cost control measures for materials, labor, and project schedules to optimize resource allocation Prepare progress claims, variations (VO), and final accounts while verifying subcontractor claims to ensure contractual compliance and financial accuracy Verify material orders and fabrication works against drawings and specifications to maintain quality and project standards Manage material procurement processes and coordinate with suppliers, subcontractors, and fabrication teams to ensure timely delivery and project continuity Attend client meetings and contribute to project coordination to align project objectives and resolve issues proactively Prepare or update fabrication drawings using AutoCAD or other CAD software to support design accuracy and project documentation Develop Method Statements of Work (MOS) and Risk Assessments (RA) to ensure safe and compliant project execution Provide advice on contractual matters, claims, and cost-related issues to support project risk management and decision-making Job Requirements Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building, Construction Management, or a related field 1–3 years of relevant Quantity Surveying experience, preferably in metal works or fabrication Ability to read and interpret technical and fabrication drawings accurately Proficiency in A
