Responsibilities Lead technical architecture and development of scalable, reliable, and secure microservices using Node.js, ensuring high performance, low latency, and high availability Enforce software development discipline and ensure all developers adhere to established SDLC processes as defined by the client Serve as the primary point of contact between the agile pod and stakeholders, facilitating transparency and alignment on project goals and progress Actively develop core components and conduct rigorous code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices, security, and quality standards Implement and manage DevOps practices within the team, utilising relevant tools to streamline development and deployment processes Mentor and guide backend developers, improving team technical capabilities and fostering a culture of continuous learning Define and integrate RESTful APIs and event-driven architectures (e.g., Kafka) to ensure seamless interdependency between systems Implement security-first coding practices (OWASP Top 10) and ensure applications comply with MAS, GDPR, and other applicable regional banking regulations Provide technical guidance leveraging deep knowledge of NodeJS and Java Design and oversee integrations with core banking systems, applying both technical and functional knowledge of how such integrations are architected and executed Requirements Minimum 10 years of experience in software development Prior experience working within financial services institutions, specifically large banks in corporate banking, with familiarity with MAS TRM and/or MAS Notice 644 Proficiency in Node.js and VB.net, with hands-on experience in code review and DevOps tooling Strong understanding of integration design with core banking applications; experience with Oracle Flexcube is an advantage Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equ
