Job PurposeWe are seeking a meticulous, independent, and high-caliber Accountant to oversee our daily financial operations, manage our investment portfolios, and ensure robust financial governance. The ideal candidate will take full ownership of the complete spectrum of financial, management, and fund accounting (including Full Set of Accounts and Net Asset Value calculations). As this role involves direct reporting and regular strategic alignment with our key business stakeholders and the business owner, native or professional-level fluency in both English and Mandarin is required. Key ResponsibilitiesFull Set of Accounts: Maintain and manage the full spectrum of financial accounting functions, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), fixed assets, and cash flow management. Fund Accounting & NAV Calculation: Oversee the accounting for investment portfolios, including the timely and accurate calculation of Net Asset Value (NAV), tracking of fund performance metrics, and reconciliation of investment positions, cash balances, and trade confirmations with custodians/brokers. Financial & Management Reporting: Prepare and finalize timely, accurate monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statements, fund performance reports, and management presentations in compliance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS / FRS). Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary finance liaison to the business owner/management. Translate complex financial and fund performance data into clear, concise business insights, conducting regular financial briefings and reviews in professional Mandarin and English. Audit & Compliance: Coordinate corporate tax computations, GST filings, and statutory submissions. Lead the year-end closing process and act as the key point of contact for external auditors, tax agents, and regulatory bodies regarding both corporate and fund entities.
