Job Description:1. Regulatory ComplianceEnsure all electrical works comply with relevant regulations and codes of practice, including guidelines set by the Energy Market Authority (EMA) and Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) requirements Monitor adherence to company safety policies and statutory requirements 2. Risk Assessment & ControlConduct and review risk assessments for electrical activities Identify potential hazards and implement appropriate control measures Ensure safe work procedures are established and followed 3. Site Supervision & CoordinationSupervise electrical works on-site to ensure safety compliance Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and workers on electrical safety matters Ensure only qualified and licensed personnel perform electrical work 4. Inspection & MaintenanceCarry out routine inspections of electrical systems, equipment, and installations Ensure proper maintenance of electrical infrastructure (e.g., switchboards, cables, generators) Highlight and rectify unsafe conditions promptly 5. Permit-to-Work (PTW) ManagementAdminister and control electrical permit-to-work systems Ensure proper lock-out/tag-out (LOTO) procedures are implemented before work begins 6. Incident Investigation & ReportingInvestigate electrical incidents, accidents, and near misses Prepare detailed reports and recommend corrective and preventive actions 7. Training & AwarenessConduct safety briefings, toolbox meetings, and training sessions on electrical safety Promote a strong safety culture among all site personnel 8. Documentation & Record KeepingMaintain accurate records of inspections, permits, risk assessments, and incidents Prepare reports for management and regulatory authorities as required Requirements & Qualifications
