Job Summary Provide expert application support by troubleshooting batch issues, performing root cause analysis, and ensuring service level indicators (SLIs) to maintain operational stability and support business needs. Responsibilities Analyze and resolve batch processing issues to minimize SLA impacts and maintain system reliability Perform root cause analysis on internal and external data and processes to answer business questions and identify improvement opportunities Deliver operational support to ensure applications meet defined service level indicators (SLIs) Proactively identify and implement preventive maintenance measures to reduce incidents Respond promptly to queries from various business units to support their operational needs Communicate timely updates on status, progress, issues, and resolutions to business stakeholders Participate actively in disaster recovery and business continuity exercises to ensure preparedness Utilize strong SQL and Unix shell scripting skills to support data analysis and automation tasks Apply knowledge of Teradata or Hadoop environments to support data processing and troubleshooting Use job scheduling tools effectively to monitor and manage batch jobs and workflows
