Your Job We are looking for an experienced Leader, Mold Design & Die Design to drive tooling design and development for new product launches. In this role, you will lead mold and die design activities, manage tool fabrication and qualification, and ensure smooth transition into production while meeting quality, cost, and delivery targets. Our Team You will be part of the DSS engineering team, working closely with cross-functional partners including Product Design, Process Engineering, Production, Quality, and external suppliers to deliver innovative tooling solutions. What You Will Do Be an active member of the new product development team, responsible for die & mold design, parts fabrication follow-up, debugging, qualification of tooling, and transfer to production while maintaining PAR rate Collaborate and coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders (DPE, Production, Product Design, and Engineering teams) from DFM through qualification to ensure timely project delivery Apply strong analytical skills to resolve tooling and production issues using data-driven approaches (e.g., SPC and capability analysis) Implement new technologies and innovations in tool design and production to improve cost, quality, and lead time Develop tooling design strategy from product design and provide target of CAPEX and schedule to DPE & Plant PJM for GCA creation when project launch. Review & design Connector tools with key team members during session as per DFM, FMEA & control plans Lead and support tools development with schedules to launch new products launch and ramp up. Manage parts’ fabrication with Tool room and work closely with Debug and Process Engineer for qualification Take lead to resolve internal / external quality issues together with FA as tool designer Support tool readiness for improvements of productivity & quality, and pre-production runs.
